Children and Family Programs

Preschool Playdate

Preschool Playdates are monthly drop-in gallery activities just for children ages two to five, with a caregiver. The program will include a child-friendly performance in the Great Hall, followed by a variety of theme-based and collection-inspired activities, allowing you and your preschoolers to explore at your own pace. Themes will be announced soon, so save the date!  No tickets necessary. Sponsored by Procter & Gamble and Hershey's.

Summer Camps

Weekly Summer Camp sessions are held from 9 a.m. to noon, Monday through Friday. Our classes are inspired by the artwork at Crystal Bridges, so in addition to lots of time creating in the art studios, campers will enjoy visits to the galleries to discover and discuss amazing works of art, plus enjoy some “trail time” to enjoy the beauty of nature surrounding the Museum.

Family Resources

Family resources are designed to inspire conversations and provide you and your family with creative ways of interacting and engaging with the artworks in the galleries.

Family Guides
These printed guides to the Museum collections and exhibitions are designed to lead families with children through the Museum, providing assistance in looking at art, creating meaningful connections and promoting thoughtful discussion. Family guides will be available at Guest Services and in Experience Art Studio.
